POC application

What is a POC?
POC is a logical verification performed before purchasing a software system, and is very common in the APS industry.
Users hope to evaluate in detail whether the software meets their needs before making a decision. However, due to the complexity of the APS system, it is difficult for users to install the system and try it out by themselves, and they often give up halfway. POC is a more efficient evaluation method.
The POC test is for the customer to collect test data using the familiar Excel, and the supplier to complete all the work from modeling to scheduling based on the customer’s data. Both parties work together to evaluate the operation process and scheduling results.
During the POC demonstration, the two parties further discussed detailed requirements and clarified the plan.
Size and difficulty of POC
It is recommended that customers prepare process models of 5-10 products. The products should be representative, cover the main process flows, and include a complete BOM structure. Model contents include:
- Production equipment (machine production line)
- Product code, attributes, BOM
- Product production process, available equipment and production capacity
- Auxiliary resources (moulds, fixtures, workers, etc. constraints)
How to apply for POC?

After receiving the test data, it will take us about 1 week to complete the plan. We will arrange a remote meeting to demonstrate the system and communicate the requirements in detail based on the case.
